Combine your technical expertise with a varied role in machine building!
As an Assembly Mechanic at Royal Dutch Kusters Engineering, you work on innovative machines for currency destruction and recycling. At our main location in Venlo, you and your colleagues build complete machines from individual components into a perfectly functioning whole. You perform tests, resolve any malfunctions, and ensure everything is ready for delivery to customers worldwide.
Occasionally, you will also travel to perform assembly or maintenance work at customer sites, making your job even more varied and dynamic!
What will you do?
In this role, you will be involved in the complete machine-building process: from assembly and testing to service and maintenance. No day is the same, as you are engaged in every phase of the project. You work in a modern environment with a close-knit team, where quality and collaboration are key.
- Independently assemble components based on drawings and parts lists.
- Wire and connect installations according to electrical schematics.
- Perform I/O tests and troubleshoot any malfunctions.
- Dismantle installations according to packing lists.
- Package machine parts and components for transport.
- Carry out assembly work at customer sites.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer locations.
- Provide feedback on technical issues to Project Management and Service.
Who are you?
- You have completed an MBO education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- You are skilled in reading technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- You have broad technical knowledge of mechatronics.
- You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- You are willing to travel approximately 25% of your time.
