Service & Customer Support Engineer wanted!
Are you technically skilled and energized by customer interaction and solving complex challenges?
For our international machine manufacturing company, we are looking for a Service & Customer Support Engineer to support customers worldwide in getting the most out of their machines.
In this role, you combine technology and service: you advise customers, analyze malfunctions, perform maintenance, and ensure a smooth handling of service visits. You work closely with engineering and sales and act as the main point of contact for customers and service partners.

What will you do?
As a Service & Customer Support Engineer, you are the point of contact for customers, agents, and service offices. You ensure that malfunctions are resolved quickly, machines operate optimally, and customers receive the best possible support. Your work is diverse and includes, among other things:
- Advising customers, analyzing problems, and performing site inspections.
- Translating customer requests into solutions, including calculations, quotations, and spare parts.
- Preparing, sending, following up on, and invoicing quotations and service orders.
- Recording, analyzing, and resolving malfunctions and service reports (also in the ERP system).
- Supporting customers, agents, and service offices with technical advice.
- Identifying structural issues and reporting them back to engineering.
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance, including reporting to customers.
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising service visits, and aligning with technicians and Sales.
- Developing training materials and providing training sessions to customers and trainees.
Who are you?
- A completed MBO+ education in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Control Engineering).
- Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Experience in using measuring equipment.
- Proficiency in working with Office applications and ERP systems (preferably Ridder).
- Understanding of automated systems and modern office applications.
- A good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
- The ability to report and communicate clearly.
